Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet Releases New Arcadia Series Cabinetry Line

As we head into spring, now is the time to plan a new outdoor kitchen to enjoy summer alfresco cooking and dining.

Just in time for summer, Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet, a leading producer of premium residential outdoor kitchen products has released their Arcadia Series of outdoor kitchen cabinetry and refrigeration. What makes the Arcadia series unique is that it expands on the existing design aesthetics of outdoor kitchens with new color, texture and style options.

While many outdoor kitchen products are primarily stainless steel designs (including Kalamazoo’s Signature line), the Arcadia Series features a distinctive appearance that contrasts a traditional brushed stainless steel detailing with a choice of rich oiled ipe wood or weather proof powder-coated panels. Ipe wood is widely regarded as one of the densest and durable hardwoods for outdoor living, making it well-suited for outdoor kitchens. The collection is offered in a variety of color, size, texture and configuration choices, allowing homeowners and designers to make an aesthetic statement in an outdoor kitchen.

The standard dark gray textured finish creates a stunning contrast with the brushed stainless steel accents. In addition to the standard charcoal-gray hue, homeowners and designers can specify any standard color from the RAL powder coat color chart (think of it as the European version of Pantone). This assortment offers creative freedom and the ultimate in personalization with more than 200 color choices.

“The outdoor kitchen is a place for making memories with family and friends, so it’s important the space reflects a homeowner’s personal design sensibilities to the utmost degree,” said Russ Faulk, chief designer and head of product for Kalamazoo. “Arcadia cabinetry expands the design options for outdoor living, while maintaining the quality standard for which Kalamazoo has long been recognized.”

A range of size options are also available for homeowners to tailor their cabinetry to fit their needs, from 12″ and 36″ inches and in several configurations, including three drawers, drawer-over-door, and pullout racks or waste bins. Full-extension stainless-steel shelves are also an option for many of the configurations. The Arcadia series is also designed for simple installation. Leveling legs allow easy alignment of the cabinets and height-adjustable toe-kicks snap onto the legs to accommodate a variety of patio conditions.

Pricing for Arcadia storage cabinets ranges from $3,395 to $5,895. Arcadia refrigeration is $4,575 to $7,125. All Kalamazoo products are available through certified design professionals, select retail dealers throughout the United States and Canada, and at To find the nearest showroom, visit the dealer locator on the company website.
