Abimis Showcases Bespoke Stainless Steel Kitchen Design

Italian bespoke stainless steel kitchen company, Abimis, caught our attention with one of their recently showcased kitchen redesigns in Italy. Abimis kitchens are gaining popularity in the U.S. with homeowners seeking completely custom chef’s kitchens in a 100% stainless steel ergonomic design.

The hallmarks of an Abmis kitchen include AISI 304 stainless steel cabinets, countertops and appliances, featuring flush doors and rounded corners with each component intricately designed to fit together for a completely smooth and streamlined appearance.

Ultimately, Abimis kitchens are designed to create the optimal environment for the home chef. Focusing on the five phases in which every chef operates, conserving , prepping, cooking and presenting, Abimis aims to design the kitchen environment so every movement is precise and efficient, allowing the chef to focus on the creativity of their cooking.

Abimis recently created a customized kitchen as part of an apartment renovation in the historic Italian town of Oderzo that perfectly reflects the customers personal taste and identity.

The kitchen was a combined design effort by the projects architect and the Abimis team. The kitchen runs along the perimeter of the room and a strategically placed stainless steel island in the center of the room creates an efficient cooking area that blends seamlessly with the rest of the kitchen components.

The complete stainless steel surfaces with no visible joints provide the ultimate in hygiene and cleanup ability. The polished stainless steel also interacts perfectly with the room’s natural lighting.

This project is certainly made unique and given character by the cabinets in the washing and preparation area, covered in Fenix, which appear here in a sophisticated and feminine powder pink color. The matte color of the cabinets recalls the shades of the characteristic quartz agglomerate in the flooring, creating a line of aesthetic consistency that makes the room appear tidy and well-balanced.

Lastly, a lot of space is dedicated to the appliances, which are all integrated into the kitchen’s stainless steel structure: refrigerator, double oven, dishwasher, induction hob and wine cellar.

Just like a precious necklace, this bright and extremely elegant kitchen has completely transformed the look of this apartment, creating a space that is functional yet glamorous at the same time.

This large kitchen, designed by the architect together with the Abimis team of professionals, runs along most of the room’s perimeter. In the same way, the large central space is cleverly used thanks to a stainless steel island, creating a practical cooking area. Making the best use of space, down to the last centimeter, and the careful positioning of the five work areas (storage, preparation, cooking, plating and washing) have made it possible to create a kitchen that, just like a valuable tool, makes it easier for the cook to move around, being structured around their needs and facilitating their work.

The AISI 304 stainless steel surfaces, which are 6mm thick in this kitchen, provide unique levels of resistance and hygiene. With no visible joints, they prevent dirt and bacteria from building up and are easy to clean. Their polished gleam interacts perfectly with the room’s natural lighting, creating interesting plays of light and reflections that really embellish the surroundings.
